MEET OUR PASTOR
Justin & Tamara Menzies
Justin & Tamara Menzies became lead pastors of Jubilee in September of 2021. They love seeing individuals discover and live out their God-given potential.
Justin was born and raised in Calgary. He ran from God in his early teens and chose a life of addiction, violence and bouts of homelessness. In 2007 he could feel his body shutting down and sensed he was not far from dying. He collapsed on a job site in July of that year and cried out to God for help. Two months later he found himself driving to Vancouver BC to join a ministry school called “Streams Ministries” under the late John Paul Jackson. It was there that he fully surrendered his life to God and had a new beginning at the age of 22.
Justin is a journeymen electrician by trade. He owned and operated his own company for almost ten years. Justin has been serving as a volunteer youth and young adults pastor at Jubilee for six years. He has a deep desire to see people discover the greatness of who Jesus is and to see people’s awareness of His reality permeate their lives. He has a fierce desire to see God’s people love Him wholeheartedly in purity, righteousness and steadfast faith.
His wife Tamara was born in Edmonton and raised in Kelowna BC. She surrendered her life to God at the early age of 14. She attended YWAM as a young adult and then pursued a career as a social worker, which she obtained her masters in. Tamara also has a prayer counselling practice and is passionate to see people free from their past so they can walk in the fullness of the purpose for which they were created. Justin and Tamara have been married since 2010.
Justin has a son named Kadin who was born in 2005. He is becoming an amazing young man. He loves to play hockey and go hunting with his dad.
